According to a report by the UN committee, between October 2023 and February 2024, the Gaza region was hit by around 25,000 tons of explosives, the equivalent of two nuclear bombs. The consequences of these attacks can be compared to those of genocide.
Israeli soldiers have been singled out for dehumanizing behavior against Palestinians, including women and children. The Committee alleges that troops shared photos of Palestinian women on social media with the aim of mocking, shaming and humiliating them.
Declaring alleged violations of the ceasefire terms, Israel warned Lebanese civilians not to return to their homes this weekend (JAN 26/25). The agreement provided for the withdrawal of Israeli forces by Sunday. According to news agencies, at least 22 people were killed and more than 124 injured by the Israeli defense forces in the region.
